A Louisville-based organization is partnering with the US-Ukraine Foundation to send much-needed relief to the front lines of the war.
On Friday, WaterStep announced they will be sending five "Water on Wheels" carts to some of Ukraine's hardest hit communities.
The carts to some of Ukraine's hardest hit communities.
The carts serve as mobile treatment systems that can provide up to 10,000 gallons of safe drinking water a day.
"You've seen WaterStep's work perhaps in eastern Kentucky. Imagine that this is the same type of equipment that is going out of here into Ukraine," said WaterStep Founder and CEO Mark Hogg.
The Carts will leave Louisville and travel through New York and Poland before reaching the final destination in Kyiv.
