H20 Takes Its Recycling Commitment To A Whole New Level

H2O Direct is delighted to announce a brand new environmental programme, to be revealed at Vendex Scotland.

The recycling of filters has always been a top priority for the family run water filter suppliers from East Sussex and now, this commitment has been taken to the next level. H2O Direct already take used filters through a five-stage recycling process that culminates in with the manufacturer of new products, such as childrens outdoor play equipment.

H2O Direct has partnered up with Ecologi, an environmental organization focused on planting trees and funding the world’s best carbon offsetting. Since the beginning of 2021 Ecologi has planted over 6 million trees and funded ingenious schemes all over the world, to offset carbon footprints.

To ensure that this scheme is not seen as a five minute wonder, H2O Direct has itself pledged to plant trees on a regular monthly basis, in order to ensure continuous support to this great program. However in additon to this ongoing monthly planting pledge, H2O Direct will be offering customers the chance to plant trees in their own name!

The initiative starts this month. H2O will fund the planting of 25 trees for every bag of filters returned to them for recycling. ‘We hope that customers will embrace this new initiative and consider their own environmental footprints’, Jim Redford said.

Naturally, Jim and the team will be at Vendex Scotland. You’ll find them on Stand 28/29 and they’re look forward to showing you what can be done when like-minded peole put their heads together!
